Virtual Avatar - D-ID

LoyJoy offers a seamless integration with D-ID to let a virtual avatar speak your messages. This guide will help you set up and use the D-ID integration.

Prerequisites​

  • A D-ID account.
  • An image of your avatar in 16:9 aspect ratio (a face image).

Step 1: Generate an idle video in D-ID​

Navigate to https://studio.d-id.com/agents and create a new agent. You can upload an image of your agent or use one of the available templates. Next, in your video studio create a new video using your agent. In the script section, you can add a pause of 0.5 seconds by clicking on the clock button. Add 6-10 pauses to generate a video of 3-5 seconds. Download the video and save it to your computer.

Step 2: Create a D-ID API key​

In your D-ID account settings, navigate to Account & API and create a new API key. Save this key securely, as you will need it to connect LoyJoy with D-ID.

Step 3: Upload the video to LoyJoy and set up the D-ID AI Avatar​

In LoyJoy, create a new agent. In the branding section click in the middle of the chat to see the conversation settings. Scroll down to the D-ID AI Avatar section and upload the video you created in D-ID. Upload the image of your avatar and fill in the API key field with your D-ID API key.
