Loyalty Redemption Module

Introduction

The Loyalty Redemption Module allows customers to redeem loyalty points by storing their redemptions in a dedicated table. This enables the exchange of loyalty points for rewards.

Typical Use Cases

  • Manual Redemption Process: Ideal for handling redemptions that require manual intervention, such as sending physical rewards to customers.
  • Automated Redemption Process: For an automated approach, consider using the Coupon Code process module to issue coupon codes in exchange for loyalty points.

How to Use the Module

Points Deduction

Specify the number of points to be deducted for each redemption. You can set limits on how many times a customer can redeem points, both individually and collectively across all customers.

Examples:

  • Per Customer Limit: Allow each customer to redeem a reward only once.
  • Overall Limit: Limit the total number of redemptions available to all customers to 100.

Redemption Records

  • Viewing Redemptions: The module allows you to view all redemption records, which are automatically deleted after 60 days for data privacy.
  • CSV Export: You can export the redemption data as a CSV file for further processing, such as fulfilling physical rewards.

Other Texts

You can customize the module’s messages under "Other Texts," including:

  • Confirmation when a redemption is successful.
  • Notifications when a customer cannot redeem again.
  • Alerts if a customer lacks sufficient points for a redemption.

Process-Specific Variables

This module generates variables that are accessible throughout the current process. They are only valid for this specific process and may evolve with platform updates. For a detailed list, check the process-specific variables list.
